Opal Hopkins of The Sacred Empress is a Soul Doula, Earth Keeper, and Sound Alchemist.

In her practice, Opal utilizes various awarenesses of ancient, angelic, ancestral, and quantum vibrations in facilitating nourishing spaces of healing for others in group and private sessions. Her offerings unify different healing modalities including sound medicine, energy work, and teaching.

The term Soul Doula means to assist others with various layers of shifts in life. Ranging from the initial stages of birth, to different layers of rebirth, and death. Being a space holder of various thresholds invites Opal to not only join with individuals, but also with the land.

As an Earth Keeper, Opal also communes with lands through various ancestral connections, and integrates the wisdoms of their teachings into her practice. Often, these teachings reflect in her practice as a Sound Alchemist.

Opal facilitates private and group gatherings utilizing her intuitive gifts in witnessing sound shift the energy in a room. With use of crystal singing bowls, drums, and vocal expression, Opal’s sessions weave a beautiful story of the power of presence as we come together and join in stillness.

Opal offers private one-on-one sessions in-person and online. These sessions bring forth remembrance for the soul and an opportunity for deep embodiment work.

Wenatchee Community Acupuncture was founded in 2020 by Jill after she ran a successful community acupuncture clinic in Delaware, Ohio for six years. She graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s in Psychology, holds a MSW from Indiana University and completed her Chinese Medicine training at the American Institute for Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and Daoist Traditions in Asheville, North Carolina. Jill is also a 200-hour certified Kundalini Yoga teacher from IKYTA.

Jill is deeply influenced and indebted to a diverse array of teachers, especially Jeffrey Yuen, Pema Chödrön and, more recently, Lama Rod Owens, Tara Brach and Lama Tsultrim Allione. The greatest teachers in her life have been her two sons, now young men. Jill’s operating philosophy as an Acupuncturist - and as a human being - is rooted in all of these guides and their encouragement for constant personal growth and self-cultivation in order to be of benefit to others.

Jill is also indebted to the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture, an organization that facilitates the development of community acupuncture clinics across the United States and internationally. Her heroes are activists of all kinds and ordinary people who have overcome extraordinary challenges.

Jill’s education, experience and 25+ year meditation practice has provided her with a deep reverence for the interconnectedness of health and well-being both within the individual and as it relates to their experience with the outside world. Every service and class she offers is infused with this devotional understanding.

When Jill is not at Wenatchee Community Acupuncture, she can be found hiking, getting her ass kicked at CrossFit, practicing (and sometimes teaching) yoga and Buddhist-inspired meditation, working with the Compassion Prison Project, building fires, listening to some epic Spotify playlists, gardening, writing, hanging out with a diverse set of kindred spirits and loving on her sons.
